Feminines: the Story so Far..Feminines was once just a figment bouncing around in my imagination. Then, in 2007, a bout of ill health forced me out of my job as a high street retail manager and I finally had the chance of turning Feminines from dream into reality. It seemed to me that many lingerie outlets, both on the high street and those on the web, aimed themselves at the wants of men, rather than at the needs of women. I wanted to change that. Getting Feminines off the ground wasn't easy, though; and the credit crash of 2008 certainly took its toll. But, thanks to the continued support of a growing number of loyal customers, we survived. Feminines is pretty much a family business (but with me in charge!). My significant other, who maintains this website (sometimes at gunpoint!), insists I'm a tyrant to work for.. This may actually be true, but it's only because I care and have high standards - just like my customers.. PhilosophyThe philosophy of Feminines is simple: provide beautiful, sensual lingerie with excellent customer service. It may not be rocket science, but it's the vision I aspire to. In my view, too many retail outlets these days (particularly those I've worked for) have lost sight of what good customer service is. They tend to see their customers as walking cash registers and nothing more. This "give us your money!" attitude simply won't do. There has to be a relationship. The exchange of money for goods should be as pleasurable for the buyer as it is for the seller. There has to be trust..
